How to Consume Egg Shells?
As the study suggested, the best way to consume egg shell is in a powdered form. So we can just use blender or coffee grinder to grind the shells to powder. Quite straight forward, right? But very very important, before you blend or grid them, make sure to cleaned it well and make sure they are free from any bacteria. Here are my procedures I normally take:
- Store used egg shells in a jar or a storage box and put it in fridge. I don’t leave them in carton box because I don’t want it to smell. Make sure to store them in fridge.
- Once you got a batch, wash them first then boil them for at least 10 minutes. This will kill all the bacteria.
- Let it cool and dry. You can put it in oven for a few minutes to further dry if you like. I normally skip it (but make sure boil them well).
- After they are completely dry, grind them until you have a nice power substance.
